Shipping policy
At House Journey, we’re dedicated to delivering your order safely and efficiently across Australia. Here’s an overview of our shipping options to make things as simple as possible for you:
🚚 Shipping Options

Flat Rate Shipping Based on Weight
- Starts at $12.95 for orders up to 1kg.
- Maximum rate of $34.95 for orders weighing between 10kg and 15kg.

Free Shipping on Select Items
- Some items qualify for free shipping when dispatched directly from our fulfilment provider or supplier.
- If a product includes free shipping, it’ll be clearly indicated on the product page.

Big & Bulky Items
- For items over 15kg, a custom shipping quote is required.
- We’ll find the best rate with our delivery partners and let you know the total shipping cost. At checkout, a maximum flat rate will be displayed, but we’ll contact you with a custom quote before dispatch, payable before the item is shipped.

🛠 Our Delivery Partners
We use a range of trusted carriers for deliveries throughout Australia, including Aramex and Australia Post. We’ll always choose the most cost-effective option for your package and location. If you have a preference, let us know, and we’ll do our best, although we can’t guarantee specific carriers.
📦 Damaged, Missing, or Lost Packages
Once you receive your package, we recommend opening it promptly to ensure everything is correct, in good condition, and as ordered. If there are any issues, please reach out within 2 business days.
⚠️ Keep the packaging
For all claims, please keep the original box and packaging. Photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and contents will be needed to assist with your claim. Without these, we may be limited in how we can help.
📬 Australia Post Special Conditions
For packages sent with Australia Post that arrive damaged, please bring the package and all inner packaging to your local Australia Post office for assessment. Their policy requires in-person verification, and although we’d prefer to handle this directly, we must follow Australia Post’s guidelines.
